Process to develop action plan

The Issue Area Strategy Teams are the working bodies responsible for producing draft, recommended strategic action plans to be combined into the draft of the comprehensive Great Lakes Strategy for consideration by the members of the Great Lakes Regional Collaboration.

The strategic action plans from the AIS Strategy Team will be combined with the action plans from the other strategy teams into a draft of the comprehensive strategy that will be provided to the Great Lakes Regional Collaboration Members for review and consideration. The AIS Strategy Team has a agreed to a process by which the action plan will be developed. The action plan is based on vectors.

Outline for AIS Strategy Team

Each drafting team will write an action plan and append supporting documents to the draft. Each drafting team must follow the outline provided and should include a prioritized list of recommendations. Drafting team leader(s) are responsible for attaining consensus among the drafting team members.

The U.S. Policy Committee's Great Lakes Strategy 2000 lists AIS goals that are relevant to the AIS Strategy Team.
