DRAFTING TEAMS

Duties

The AOC Strategy Team has established drafting teams to address the key topics it has been charged with addressing under the Great Lakes Regional Collaboration. These topics are RAP Program Implementation; Contaminated Sediments and Great Lakes Legacy Act Implementation; and AOC Delisting. The Strategy Team chairman has appointed specific individuals to serve as core members of each drafting team based on their extensive knowledge of and experience with the issues under consideration. These individuals will consult with other team members as needed. Team members who wish to participate on a drafting team should email Pat Madigan (Pat.Madigan@epa.state.oh.us). Comments or suggestions may also be submitted directly to the members of each team.

Each drafting team will be responsible for writing an action plan (not to exceed five pages) addressing their topic, with supporting documentation included as needed. To the extent practicable, the drafting teams are to follow the outline provided and should include a list of recommendations. The drafting teams are responsible for attaining consensus; if consensus cannot be reached, the drafting teams should ask the team co-chairs for guidance.

The drafting teams will convene conference calls as needed and must submit their proposed action plans to the team cochairs by March 9.
