Scientist to discuss study of pollutants in fish ear bones

Fish ear bones, which are made of calcium carbonate, can contain naturally occurring metals but it is industrial metals such as chromium, cadmium, lead, strontium, barium and manganese that indicate environmental problems.

Unfiltered water pouring into Lake Michigan from storm drains causing concern
