Metallic sheen reported on Lake Michigan again The Northwest Indiana Times (7/17) A metallic sheen was reported Wednesday afternoon on Lake Michigan in the area of Porter Beach. Early indications are that the sheen is similar to one reported June 17 in the same area. The source of the material is pending further investigation.
