FW: Updated Dioxin Emissions Inventory

Hi group,

As you may know, in November, EPA's NCEA released its final report for their
dioxin release inventory, available at
http://cfpub.epa.gov/ncea/cfm/recordisplay.cfm?deid=159286. They claim that
this dataset is far more comprehensive that the dioxin information in the
NEI and there is a good chance there may be some information in it that
could be adopted by our group. Although the report has been posted, the
final dataset is not expected until next month. We can discuss this further
as some point in the near future. In the meantime, you may be interested in
seeing the report at the link above.

Cheers,
Jon

We have updated the dioxin inventory database, and it is currently
undergoing final editing. It should be available in Feb, 2007.

Mr. Cleverly,

As I'm sure you're aware, the EPA recently published (Nov. 2006) its
final
report on the 2000 national inventory of dioxin/furan emissions.
However,
the database available for download through the NCEA site
(http://cfpub.epa.gov/ncea/cfm/recordisplay.cfm?deid=20797) is still the
one
dated 2001 and only contains the reference year data. Is the final
database
available or are there plans to make it so in the near future? I'm
contacting you because you are listed as the appropriate person on the
above-linked website. If there is someone more appropriate I should
inquire
with, please either refer me to them or forward this inquiry on.

Thank you,
Jon Dettling
