RE: RAPIDS.GEF file

Dennis,

I believe the fields you list in your email would be sufficient. Another
thing that may be useful, if it is available, is the ultimate source of the
factor (e.g., FIRE, NEI, etc.)

Subject: RAPIDS.GEF file

Hi, Jon! Regarding submittal of area source emission factors in the
format of the RAPIDS.GEF file, I presume that GEF stands for generic
emission factors? While I haven't been able to view an example of the
GEF file, I believe I know what the fields will be based on looking at
the RAPIDS database, and choosing Emission
Estimation>Factors>Emission>Generic. In the window there, I see that
the fields are: SCC/AMS Code, Emittant Material Code, Emittant Unit
Code, Throughput Material Code, Throughput Unit Code, Amount, Exponent,
Primary Control Device, Secondary Control Device, Quality and EPA Date.

I'll plan on using these fields when I make my submittal by March 28th
of the area source emission factors which Michigan is using, unless you
advise me otherwise.

Thanks!

Dennis
