RAPIDS Database on GLC Server

To All,

I've attached a document that outlines how to install the PostgreSQL ODBC
drivers and set up an ODBC data source for the GLC RAPIDS database. And
ODBC data source can be used MS Access, InfoMaker, FoxPro, etc. to access
the database on the server.

Before you can complete the connection to GLC, you'll need to provide Pete
Giencke with the external IP address range for your agency. Someone in
IT/IS should know what IP address range your agency is using. If you want
to find out your own external IP address, go to the following page:
http://whatsmyip.org/ Your address will appear at the top of the page. If
you send that to Pete (pgiencke@glc.org), he can work with it.

The current database on the GLC server is development version 03
(rapids_dev03). This contains the last version of the core database
structure we discussed in the group. As updated versions become available,
I'll let everyone know.

Thanks,
Mark Young
