RAPIDS Development Call (Wednesday, May 21 at 1:30 EST)

To All,

We'll be having the RAPIDS Development call tomorrow (Wednesday, May 21) at
1:30 Eastern.

I'll be providing an update on RAPIDS development, as well as covering any
questions the group has regarding the PostgreSQL installation I posted a
couple of weeks back. I included the list below for reference.

I also plan on getting through the rest of the EIS issues that we started
discussing on the last call.

As usual, please call the conference line first, just in case we have any
difficulties with WebEx.

Conference Line:
Number: 1-866-394-4149
Participant Code: 97738766#

WebEx:

Password: rapids

Thanks,

Mark Young

-----------------
List of EIS Issues:

-There are some unit changes, such as for flow rates.

-There is a new field called "status" for facility stacks. This will allow
non-operating stacks to be included, but marked as not operating. Chun Yi
feels that these could slow things down.

-Another new addition is the "facility type" field and "emission unit type."
Chun Yi thinks these may be similar to some other fields, such as emission
unit code. The region could possibly work on a mapping for this once it is
published.

-There are also field to allow or require local regulations to be included.

-The XML schema is somewhat similar to what we've done in RAPIDS3.

-The new schema will allow for multiple release points. The group doesn't
recall what the status of RAPIDS 3 is on this.

-There are also some possible changes in the PM10 reporting to divide
between condensable and filterable.

-For metals, emissions are now wanted only in the weight of the metal
element. The EPA will be producing a conversion table.
