Good Afternoon Beachnet,
Does anyone have any good links or sources for distributors of the
microfilament nylon wires that are utilized on beaches to deter birds from
landing on the sand? Secondly, does anyone have any information on the use
of disinfections solvents or methods for minimizing e.coli along the
shoreline?

I don't have a copy yet---I ordered a copy thru a library. However, the
best way to get a copy of the article, "The effect of two mechanical
beach grooming strategies on Escherichia coli density in beach sand at a
southwestern Lake Michigan beach," is to contact Julie Kinzleman
