The Great Lakes Beach Association (GLBA) invites you to participate in
the 4th annual Great Lakes Beach Association conference on recreational
water quality November 30 - December 1, 2004. The Great Lakes Beach
Association was founded in 2001 to bring together beach managers,
scientists,
agencies, officials and private groups to exchange information and improve
recreational water quality. The annual meeting is an important means of
achieving
this goal. Conference registration is free and this year is hosted by
Cuyahoga County
Board of Health, Parma, Ohio. The location is 2 miles from the
Cleveland-Hopkins
International Airport.
On November 30, there will be a poster session held from 5:30 - 7:30
p.m. Abstracts are still being accepted. For more information about
submitting a poster for the conference, please go to

Local, state and national program status, latest Great Lakes research and
current water quality trends will be highlighted by poster and oral
presentations
on December 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The annual GLBA business
meeting
will also be conducted and there will be a brief overview of the National
Beaches Conference, which will be held in
San Diego, CA, October 13-15, 2004.
