Dr. Mitzy Taggart from Heal the Bay, California is looking for someone that
can talk about improvement projects aimed at reduction of beach closures at
an upcoming water quality symposium in Orange Co. (Aug. 17-18).  In
particularly, she is interested in projects that are designed to increase
circulation at beaches.   If you are familiar enough with this subject or
know someone that is, have them contact Mitzy.

Also, do you have any ideas of someone from the Great Lakes Association
(or other places) that has a good overview of the types of beach water
quality improvement projects that have been completed (successfully or
unsuccessfully), or are planned in the Great Lakes area - particular
projects at low-flushing beaches?
