Just a reminder that the 2006 presentations from the National Beaches
Conference are available at

And as the beach monitoring season gets started for another year, you
may want to share this information with new staff.  Please note the the
Great Lakes Beach Assocition hosted a Beach Management 101 presentation
that is designed to help new staff understand basic monitoring
procedures and how to communicate results with the media and the public.
 Presentations were given by Jon Dineen (CT), Toni Glymph (WI), Shannon
Briggs (MI), and Holly Wirick (EPA, Chicago) and covered marine and
freshwater beaches.
