Zebra mussels have begun to
infiltrate Otsego Lake, a relatively large freshwater lake in Central New
York. There are several beaches on this lake. Has anyone
developed a plan to handle infestations of zebra mussels in their beach areas
that they would be willing to share with us? Any suggestions on how to
control zebra mussels or mitigate their impacts would be appreciated. We
would like to make preparations now to protect the beaches on the
lake.
Thanks for your help with this,
Kristen
