The American Shore & Beach Preservation Association
is holding its 2008 National Conference in Chicago, October 15-17. ASBPA
is the nation's oldest organization promoting science-based policies for the
protection and enhancement of beaches and shores as well as coastal
communities.
Attached is the call for papers. While the
deadline has passed, I wanted to be sure that members of this List Serve were
aware of the conference. Abstracts can still be submitted. If you
will respond as soon as possible be beaches@asbpa.org with a brief (1 paragraph)
indication of the topic and your approach to that topic, my office will deal
with the program committee and let you know if an abstract for that topic can be
submitted.
