On the same subject: there is another site (a prototype) called CalSWIM : California Sustainable Watershed/Wetland Information Manager

www.calswim.org

It has many functions like exploring the watershed based on GIS, and a data analysis tool and a prototype for a simulation tool. The simulation aspect is still under development but the site is still functional and should be of interest to the group.
