       A Conference Addressing Water & Pollution Issues

University of Toledo

WINONA LADUKE - founder of the Indigenous Women's Network, 1996 Green
Party Vice-Presidential Candidate, and community activist will be the
keynote speaker.

Mike Ferner - former City of Toledo Councilman, former Toledo mayoral
candidate, organizer with the Program on Corporations, Law, and
Democracy, and community activist will discuss citizens' sovereignty
over corporate control.

Carolyn Miller - local activist with BOND and Don't Waste Ohio will
address Envirosafe, the largest hazardous waste facility in Ohio,
and its potential impact on local waterways.

A regional conference to bring together concerned citizens, experts, and
state and local officials to discuss the hazards to the Great Lakes
Ecosystem.  It will include two rounds of workshops as well as a
strategy session to Take Back The Lakes!
