The Lyman Briggs School at Michigan State Universiry is presenting a series of
programs on property rights issues this spring.  The programs will be on
Monday afternoons, 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Room 103-C Holmes Hall. 

March 16th "Property Rights, Economics and Environment" with Prof.  Alan
Randall of Ohio State Univ. and Bill Rustem of Public Sector Consultants

March 23rd "Native American Fishing Rights" with John Echohawk of the Native
American Rights Fund, and Stephen O. Schultz, attorney

March 30rd "Common Property and Natural Resources Management" with Prof.
Bonnie McCay, Rutgers Univ. and  Prof. Michael Lawrence, Detroit College of
Law @ MSU

April 6th "Regulatory Takings & Land Use Conflicts" with Prof. Daniel Bromley,
Univ. of Wisconsin and Jim Olson, atty.

April 13th "Trading Air Pollution Certificates" with Prof. Tom Tietenberg,
Colby College and Treva Formby, Clean Air Action Corp.

April 20th "Development Rights & the Environment" with Dr. Tom Daniels,
Director, Agricultural Preserve Board, and Rob Manigold, Supervisor, Peninsula
Twp., Traverse City
