The full Michigan House seems likely to take up the DNR Budget tomorrow, which
has a provision mandating minimum levels of timber to be marked for logging in
FY 99.  

Please take time to contact your State Representative and urge him/her
to seek to eliminate Section 903 from House Bill 5591 when it comes to the
floor!! Call the Legislative Switchboard at (517-373-1873) and ask them to
connect you to your Rep. (have name handy!).
