Mae McAlister had never seen anything quite like the mass of lime-green slime
sweeping down the east bank of the Grand River on Tuesday.
But it ruined the fishing, so she soon packed up and fled her angling spot in
Sixth Street Bridge Park north of downtown Grand Rapids.

What is it? It's green, it's slimy, it's stinky, and it's spreading.

OSCODA - Pollution cleanup at the former Paul B. Wurtsmith Air Force Base will

environmental expert.
