There was a recent post about Health Care Without Harm, the campaign to
reduce the environmental impact of the health care sector.

Here are some additional details.  There is an active contingent of Health
Care Without Harm in Michigan.
Michigan or Michigan-connected groups that are members include: The Ecology
Center (a founding member), the Vietnam Veterans of America, Michigan
Chapter, Hamtramck area activists, and Students for a Healthy Hospital at
UM.  There are also numerous organizational members with chapters or
members in Michigan including: the American Nurses Association, National
Wildlife Federation, Sierra Club, Physicians for Social Responsibility, The
Breast Cancer Fund, Greenpeace, the AFL-CIO, 1199, CCHW, Great Lakes
United, and many others.  Several hospitals and hospital systems are also
members, although none in Michigan yet.
