This is a last call for orders for the first State of the Great Lakes
Islands Report.  This is the only report ever published about the islands
of the Great Lakes.  The report is based on a set of papers given at a
U.S.-Canada Great Lakes Islands Workshop.  The workshop was attended by 35
U.S. and Canadian researchers, policymakers, and islanders (see list of
papers below).  Copies will NOT be available for purchase at a later date.
The cost is $15 postage paid.  The attractive 80-page publication has a
color photograph cover and 
includes findings and recommendations of workshop participants.  They will
be mailed out sometime in late August or September 1998.
