ALERT:	  Rep. Wetters' drain code bill, HB 4337, is tentatively set for
debate tomorrow (Thursday)on the House Floor.  MEC, MUCC, Sierra Club,
League of Women Voters and others do not support Wetters' bill. We urge you
to call your state representative TODAY and ask them to not support
Wetters' bill without substantial amendments to assure due process and
environmental protection.  Amendments are likely to fly from all sides; ask
your legislator to support reform efforts by Representatives Ed LaForge,
Rose Bogardus, and Karen Willard.

The fate of Rep. Willard's attempt to get an alternative bill to the floor
for debate is uncertain at this time.
