POSITION VACANCY

Web Designer/Communications Specialist
Communications and Information Management Program
Great Lakes Commission
Ann Arbor, Michigan

The Great Lakes Commission seeks a self-motivated team player to assist
with development and maintenance of its web site (www.glc.org),
including project-specific sites, and advise on related sites
(www.great-lakes.net). 

Other duties as assigned. 

Ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience with web site creation
and management, computer graphics design (Corel, PhotoShop, Java
applets, Fractal Design, Illustrator, Real Audio and Video) and FTP. 

Experience with Pagemaker, Adobe Acrobat, FrontPage and other HTML
editors strongly desired. Familiarity with the Great Lakes region and
relevant environmental protection, resource management, transportation
and economic development policy issues is a plus. Report writing and
editorial skills, as well as some public relations experience, would be
an asset. 

Relevant degree and 2+ years experience. Send resume, cover letter,
