E-M:/ WEPCO dams, Michigan's Western UP

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enviro-Mich message from "Alex J. Sagady & Associates" <ajs@sagady.com>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last week I sent out a FR notice about a Federal Energy
Regulatory Proceeding concerning a dam owned by WEPCO....

Actually, there appears to be 5 dam licensing proceedings for
the following WEPCO dams, all in the Western UP......

If you want any of these complete notices, please send me a note
and I'll followup...

Folks should pay attention to these proceedings because they
can significantly affect fish and wildlife in the rivers affected,
as well as recreation.....

WEPCO, by the way, stands for Wisconsin Electric Power
Company, which is a major utility with a service area in
large portions of Michigan's Upper Peninsula....
