For those of you who are brave hearty souls, this is a great experience. Did it last year and had a ball. The data that is being collected is invaluable and demonstrates that important work can be done by caring and concerned people (ages ranged from jr. high /elementary to octagenarians) and you don't need need to be a PhD nor have "high tech" everything to help monitor our natural resources. I strongly recommend you give it a try!!
