Here's the letter he wrote which is rife with grammatical errors
(SIC to the whole damn thing) ...................
I am worried that one day, a liberal, bean sprout eating, anti
hunter vegetarian will become Governor of Michigan. Before
then, we must pass pro hunter, pro private property rights,
pro people recreational use bills. I am hoping to leave a
legacy
of new laws which insure state land is for people's use
and convenience, not vermin and bugs. Birds, animals and
fish are natural renewable resources. Man is on top of the
food
chain and a necessary part of the balanced ecosystem. A person's
home and cabin should remain his "castle." People on vacation,
hunting or retirement should not be harassed by the Green
police. Perhaps you've heard the joke that the Greens (the
environmental extremists) are the Reds (communists) of
Michigan.
Our success would mean vegetarian anti hunters must win
control of the Governor, the State House and State Senate
to undo pro sportsman legislation. Urbanization trends are
leading to declining numbers of hunters and fishermen. That's
why my fish pond, fishing derby and fishing dock initiative is
so
important to encourage more children to participate in the
great outdoors.
We cannot get everything done at once. The price of freedom
is eternal vigilance. However, fighting to preserve and expand
hunting, firearm and recreation use of our public lands and
private property rights is a project worthy of your time.
