As a result of multiple emails I've been receiving, 
It appears that someone in the "hemp movement" has been
harvesting email addresses of people who post items
to Enviro-Mich through access to the Enviro-Mich web archive, and then
sending to these same people spam email concerning 
hemp issues.

I consider this a serious abuse of information at the Enviro-Mich web 
site and suspect it may be quite annoying 
and potentially embarrasing to people who participate here.

As a result, if you receive such messages, please take action
to complain about such emails to network administrators at
sites.   You can do this by block copying the entire message, 
including all mail headers (expose these by hitting "blah,blah"
in Eudora, for example), and pasting it in at the "spamcop"
site at:

http://www.julianhaight.com/spamcop.shtml

which will generate an automatic complaint letter
to system/network administrators at sites where the 
email was generated.

I'd like to nip this practice in the bud right away because
I would like to make sure that it does diminish participation
in Enviro-Mich.
