Free and Open to the Public

Named one of a hundred "visionaries who could change your life" by the
Utne Reader.  Winner of the Honorary Right Livelihood Award, also known as
the Alternative Nobel Prize and recognized by the Royal Netherlands Academy
of Arts and Sciences for excellence in Environmental Science. A Former
Senior Economist at the World Bank and Co-founder and Editor of the Journal
of Ecological Economics.  Co- Author of For the Common Good: Redirecting
the Economy Toward Community, the Environment, and a Sustainable Future,
recipient of the Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order, and
author of the controversial Beyond Growth: The Economics of Sustainable
Development. Professor at the University of Maryland School of Public
Affairs.

Convened by the Erb Environmental Management Institute and
the Corporate Environmental Management Program at the University of
