I'm passing this along from Cynthia Stilley at the FPL:
Our fledgling chapter of Wild Ones is hosting two lectures this winter.
They will both be at the Flint Public Library:
January 28 -- "Native Plant Identification and Site Preparation" by Bill
Schneider of "Wildtypes Nursery."
February 25 -- "Landscaping With Native Plants in Urban Settings" by Bob
Grese, U. of M.
Both lectures will begin at 7:00 pm.
For more information e-mail Deb Farrell at dfarrell@gfn.org and please
pass the word around to anyone who might be interested. Thanks, cs
Wild Ones is a non-profit organization with a mission to educate and
share information with members and the community at the 'plants-root'
level and to promote biodiversity and environmentally sound practices.
We're a diverse membership interested in natural landscaping using native
species in developing plant communities.
