The State of Michigan's Energy Resources Division has recently added a new
case study
article to its web site that may be of interest. The Energy Resources
Division writes monthly
case studies on buildings and technologies in Michigan that make innovative
use of renewable
resource and/or energy efficiency technologies.

The latest case study focuses on the use of photovoltaic (PV) systems in the
Parks in Michigan. Both Sleeping Bear Dunes and Pictured Rocks National
utilize PV systems to provide electricity to remote regions of the parks.
To read more about
these systems, go to:

and look under the 'renewables' heading.

There will be articles on straw bale construction and energy efficient homes
added in the
upcoming months. The web site is under constant development and case
studies, announcements and calendar events are continually added and/or updated.
