speaking in Grand Rapids this next Wednesday.

Grand Rapids Community College presents Dr. Robert Bullard
Cultural Diversity Lecture Series IV

     A renowned environmentalist, Dr. Bullard will address Unequal
     Protection, with an emphasis on environmental justice
     occurring for all people regardless of economic status or
     residence.

For over a decade he has conducted research in the areas of urban land
use, housing, community development, industrial facility siting
processes and environmental quality.

Dr. Bullard is Ware Professor of Sociology and Director of the
Environmental Justice Resource Center at Clark Atlanta University. He is
an award-winning author and two of his books, Dumping in Dixie: Race,
Class and the Environmental Quality and People of Color Environmental
Groups Directory 1994-95, have become standard text in the environmental
and social justice field.
