Enviro-Mich message from Tom Stanton <stanton7@pilot.msu.edu>

The Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association (GLREA)
is a non-profit organization that
educates, advocates, promotes, and demonstrates
renewable energy technologies.

This summer, on August 6-8, 1999, GLREA offers you its
annual Renewable Energy Fair
to be held at Riverfront Park and Lansing Community
College, in Lansing, Michigan! Through a wide variety
of activities, this fair will help you and your
children learn about energy efficiency and renewable
energy choices. These choices are good for the
environment and good for the pocketbook too.

Some of the exciting activities include:

* Seminars and workshops on renewable energy
technologies and energy efficiency for your home or
* Demonstrations by vendors of renewable energy
products and services
* Displays that demonstrate the most energy efficient
devices available on the market today
* Fun, educational, hands-on activities for kids,
sponsored in part by Detroit Edison's Solar Schools
* Electric and alternative-fuel vehicle display

This is sure to be a fun learning event! So mark your
calendars now!

environmental organizations to be a part of the Energy
Fair. If your business or organization would like to
