GREAT LAKES CONGRESSIONAL BREAKFAST AND BRIEFING

     The Great Lakes Commission and Northeast-Midwest Institute on
Wednesday, March 17, will host the annual Great Lakes Congressional
Breakfast and Issues Briefing.  This year's speakers at the breakfast
will be Senator Mike DeWine (R-OH) and Rep. Lynn Rivers (D-MI).  The
subsequent briefing for congressional staff will feature region-based
experts discussing Great Lakes priorities, including environmental
protection and research, maritime issues, and resource management.

     The Great Lakes Congressional Breakfast on Wednesday, March 17,
will run from 8:00 am to 9:30 am in room B-339 of the Rayburn House
Office Building.  The Issues Briefing will be from 10:00 am until
12:00 pm in room 1539 of the Longworth House Office Building.
