RE: OPTIONS for AFFORDABLE ACCOMMODATIONS and RATES at the NTM
The National Town Meeting for a Sustainable America will be held in
Detroit May 2-5 with local kick-off events in Detroit on May 1st. It
will be a major opportunity to exchange information, learn what others
are doing and take home ideas to make our communities, businesses and
organizations more sustainable. [See www.sustainableamerica.org for
details]
In order to encourage participation in the NTM by community-based
groups and individuals who may find it otherwise difficult to attend,
SCHOLARSHIPS, STUDENT RATES AND SPECIAL GROUP RATES for exhibits and
registrations are available. SCHOLARSHIP MONEY HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED --
YOU ONLY NEED APPLY, BUT DO IT NOW WHILE FUNDS LAST! Information has
been posted to various listserves and is also on the web site.
HERE'S SOME IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The DEADLINE for obtaining GROUP RATES on exhibits and registrations
has been EXTENDED TO APRIL 8TH. The group rates are available to
groups of five or more participants. IF YOU WANT HELP IN FINDING
OTHERS TO COMPOSE A GROUP, contact Barbara Matzner (703-836-1051;
matzner.tie@erols.com]. She has generously volunteered to be a point
person to facilitate group formations.
In addition, the following OPTIONS FOR ACCOMMODATIONS may be of
interest to those on limited budgets:
