Everything you always wanted to know about water quality in a 1.5 hour seminar!
"Water Issues Today"

Wednesday, March 31, 4:10-5:30pm, B106 Wells Hall, Michigan State University

The seminar will cover some or all of the following topics: distribution of
water, the water cycle, problems with water, uses of water, direct
pollution sources, indirect pollution sources, contaminants of water
(including biological contaminants, exotic plants and animals, heavy
metals, organic compounds, endocrince disruptors, and disinfectant

The seminar is the first in a series of four seminars looking at water
resources and water quality on the MSU campus.  A working group will form
following the last seminar to begin an assessment of MSU's environmental
footprint on local waterways.
