E-M:/ Willers re: Moore Speech

Enviro-Mich message from David Allen <dallen@nmu.edu>

Quite a few on the wisc-eco list are wanting to know what Moore will be
saying (they have grievous doubts as to the logical consistency of the
forum's speakers to sustainability and development). Perhaps someone who
attends could give Bill a note?

PATRICK MOORE & THE PRESIDENT'S COUNCIL ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Canadian Forest Industry representative and Wise Use figure Patrick Moore is
the keynote speaker at one of the "Learning Sessions" at the President's
Council on Sustainable Development (Tuesday, May 4, 1999, 4:00pm, Session
Number 523, Room DO-07A,DO-07B) in Detroit, MI. Noting the place (Detroit)
and the date, it's certainly part of the "national town meeting" that
industrial/governmental interests has been touting for so long. Do any of
you know of activists in the Detroit area who could make that speech?

Look at the "Patrick Moore is a Big Fat Lair" home page
