As you know, yesterday, House Bill 4065 was up for
debate.  Throughout the debate several amendments
were proposed to dedicate dollars from the Clean
Water Fund for the purpose of actual clean-ups in
Michigan. Unfortunately, all the amendments were
defeated and legislators voted mostly along party
lines, with a few exceptions. Thanks to all of you
who sent letters and called your legislators.

Below is a list of those legislators who didn't
follow the majority of their party in their
votes.  The votes were close, but there is still
hope for a change in the fall. We need to thank
the legislators who voted right and encourage the
others to do better when the legislature allocates
Clean Water Fund dollars in the fall.

The "environmental" votes on the amendments were
