I saw in the OPPT Newsbreak today, an article from the New York Times, dated 8/12/99 (section A15), that President Clinton is listing trees (among other things) as an alternative energy source to replace fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, oil and uranium). He intends to place an executive order that "renewable technologies" are nurtured through research grants and tax credits. Just an FYI for those watching.
