Join the Central Michigan, Sierra Club for the best ride of the summer -

Tour de Sprawl 1999!!!
September 25th, 1999
10:00 a.m. at Ann Street Plaza, East Lansing

The Tour de Sprawl is a family fun/environmental education event.  This
bicycle tour will begin and end at Ann Street Plaza in East Lansing.  On the
multi-stop, 18-mile route through portions of East Lansing, Lansing and
Meridian Township, participants will see and learn about urban sprawl, smart
growth, wildlife habitat, farmland preservation and other vital environmental
information from experts on site.  Bus transportation will be provided for
those who do not wish to bike. (Bus riders MUST register by September 15).


Whether you ride or not, be sure to join us for the post-ride party in downtown 
East Lansing from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. for food and drinks!!!

Helmets are required.  Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian.  If it rains, the Tour will be held at 10:00 a.m. on September 26th.
Thanks to Mid-MEAC, Urban Options, CATA, League of Michigan Bicyclists, the
City of East Lansing, and the East Lansing Food Co-op for their help with
this event!

Registration fees: 
Early bird (before Sept 15) individual $3/family $5
Late Registration (after Sept 15) individual $5/family $7
