MICHIGAN RIVER NETWORK
ANNUAL MEETING
October 1 and 2, 1999

The life of every river sings its own song, but in most the song is long
marred by the discords of misuse.

			~Aldo Leopold

Ebersole Center, Wayland, MI
(near Grand Rapids)

The Michigan River Network (MRN) is a statewide coalition of groups and
individuals working to strengthen and unify the voice for river protection
in Michigan.

The Ebersole Center is a nature and conference center near Gun Lake and
Wayland on 158 acres, about 20 miles from Grand Rapids. The accomodations
are rustic (dormitory-style) but the setting will provide an opportunity to
enjoy the natural areas we are working to protect. For those who would
prefer more "private" accomodations, a list of nearby hotels and motels is
enclosed.

The registration fees are very reasonable due to a generous grant from River
Network which has helped to off-set the costs of the event.

If you have any questions or suggestions for additions, please contact
Rachel Martin at Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council, (231) 347-1181 or e-mail
to rachel@nature.org
