Louisiana Pacific's Northern Division in Sagola, MI is the site of one of the 
largest log stacking yards i have seen in Michigan.  

I would restate: ask any small woodlot owner or contractor in Michigan if 
they can compete with LP, Mead, Aspen, Champion or any other industrial 
deforester for supply of trees for pulp.

Regardless of the type of product LP is turning out, it stands as one of the 
largest log stacking yards and destinations for forests i have seen in
