E-M:/ Virus Transmission on Enviro-Mich

Enviro-Mich message from "Alex J. Sagady & Associates" <ajs@sagady.com>

There has apparently been an incident of inadvertent
virus transmission on Enviro-Mich.

A message transmitted by (David Zaber ) dzaber@chorus.net inadvertently
contained the "Pretty Park Worm EXE" virus as an attached file.

I have temporarily taken David Zaber off the list until he contacts me
further that his machine problem is resolved.

This virus will not infect your machine unless....

a. You have double clicked on the Pretty Park.EXE file (DON'T DO THIS!!)

b. Your Email client software is set to automatically run executable
attachments .... (factory default settings are usually set so that this
is usually not the case).

Assuming that your case is not under a or b, all you have to do (and should
do) is BOTH of the following.

1. Deleted all messages this past weekend from David Zaber/ dzaber@chorus.net

2. Go to your directory that contains file attachments to email
messages. Look
for a file called Pretty Park.EXE (or anything like that name), and
delete this
file. Merely move the cursor to this file (DON'T DOUBLE CLICK!!) and
hit the
delete key and then empty your trash can in Windows 95/98 or other undelete
