Enviro-Mich message from Murphwild1@aol.com

If your Michigan environmental or conservation group, business, church, or
organization would like to support the National Forest Protection And
Restoration Act (HR 1396), or become a member of the National Forest
Protection Alliance, please send your endorsement and group information to
the contacts listed below. Included is an updated list of groups who have
endorsed the NFPRA (H.R. 1396).

The National Forest Protection Alliance is a national network of citizens and
organizations dedicated to protecting public lands from commercial
exploitation, and in particular, protecting federal public lands from
commercial logging.

The National Forest Protection And Restoration Act (NFPRA) will end
commercial logging in our National Forests. Michigan has three National
Forests, the Ottawa, Hiawatha and Huron-Manistee.

The NFPRA currently enjoys 74 co-sponsors in the US House of Representatives.
25 of 35 US Congressional Black Caucus members have so far co-sponsored the
NFPRA (HR 1396). Currently, Michigan Representatives Boniors, Rivers, and
Conyers are co-sponsors of the NFPA. Let's keep going!

Keep It Wild!
