"Green Thoughts and Environmental Acts: What's
Right, What's Wrong, Who Cares?"

Explore the ethical issues in the relationship between humans and the natural
environment. Pamela Smith, Ph.D. authority on environmental ethics and
Director of Lay Ministries, Saints Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Orchard
Lake, Michigan, will present her research and suggest a model for making
choices as consumers and as voters. Discussion will include global warming,
rainforest destruction, urban sprawl, Humbug Marsh and pollution of lakes and
streams. Presented by the East Michigan Environmental Action Council.

Where: Kensington Academy, 32605 Bellvine Trail, Beverly Hills
(1/4 mile south of 14 Mile Road, between Lahser and Cranbrook/Evergreen)

Open to the public. No registration fee. Hors d'oeuvres reception begins at
