Detroit River Canadian Cleanup Committee to hold Public Summit!

Are you interested in learning more about the efforts to clean up the 
Detroit River? Join the Detroit River Canadian Cleanup Committee at the 
Detroit River Summit on Tuesday, April 18 from 4pm until 8pm at the Great 
Lakes Institute for Environmental Research, located at 2990 Riverside Drive 
West, just west of the Ambassador Bridge.
Take part in setting the agenda to clean up the Detroit River and its 
watersheds. The Detroit River Summit is your chance to be heard. Five 
Detroit River Action Awards will be given to organizations and individuals 
who are taking action to clean up our river, and the Detroit River Update 
Report will be reviewed.
The Great Lakes Institute is located at 2990 Riverside Drive W, just west 
of the Ambassador Bridge. There is limited parking on site but over-flow 
parking is available at Lot AA, 2990 University (just under the bridge), as 
well as for a nominal fee at the Assumption Church parking-lot on 
University just east of Huron-Church Rd.
