Introduction to Permaculture 
      Weekend Workshop 

Principles of Sustainable Systems Design 
                 May 26-29, 2000 
        at Windrise Retreat Center
Metamora, Michigan (60 min. north of Detroit)

Located on 150 rolling acres of fields and forests, 
bounded by the Flint River. Canoeing & kayaking available!

Learn and apply sustainable systems principles as we 
design a plan for Windrise! 

*  Natural Buildiings
*  Renewable Energy Systems
*  alternative Waste Water and toilet sytems
*  Edible Landscape 
*  Organic Gardens
*  and Ecological Restoration!

An opportunity to enjoy nature and learn about being 
in creative healing partnership with the earth.

Gather/Arrive:  Friday, 7 pm  
Workshop runs through Monday lunch.

Special Event:  Visit and assist on a strawbale, cob covered, 
thatched roof building at a nearby site.  Bring work clothes 
if you wish to be hands on.

Cost: $200 -$225/person   $350/couple
Some work scholarships available.
