For those of you who have nothing to do on Saturday and would like to partake in a little community water festival, you are welcome to join Cannon Township residents at the 7th annual Bear Creek Waterfest.  This will be held on Saturday, April 29th, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Townsend Park in Kent County.  Townsend Park is located on Cannonsburg Road and Ramsdell Avenue.  Please email me if you need more explicit directions.

The activities start with a Pancake Breakfast at 8:00 a.m.  There will be several demonstrations, including a view of a recent streambank restoration project.  There will also be some games for the children.
