Since it was built in the early part of the 20th century, the Ford Rouge Complex has dominated the landscape of South Dearborn. Last year, Ford Motor Company announced a substantial investment in the coming years towards the "greening" and "revitalization" of this major industrial complex. William McDonough, well-known for his dramatic and innovative approaches, has been hired by Ford Motor Company to help design an "ecologically intelligent model of 21st century manufacturing." Mr. McDonough will share his vision and ideas for the Rouge Complex, which will be followed by an opportunity for questions and comments from the audience.
