Director of Investor Relations
Environmental Capital Network

The Environmental Capital Network (ECN) is seeking candidates for the Director of Investor Relations. The focus of this position is the development of ECNÕs Investor Network Services, the coordination and development of ECNÕs premiere Environmental Capital Forums, Investors Conference, and Angel Capital Meetings and building ECNÕs capacity to assist environmental companies in the process of raising capital.  The ECN program offers specialized services that introduce individual, professional, and corporate investors to early and expansion stage environmental companies and assists firms commercializing a wide range of industrial processes, energy, and environmental technologies, products, and services. Since 1995, ECN, a program of the Center for Environmental Policy, Economics, and Science (CEPES), has introduced investors to innovative companies providing products or services that are beneficial to the environment.

	Responsibilities:
o Develop and support ECN Investor Network Services	
- Investor relations & recruitment
- Co-Investors' Network
- Investor profiles
- ECN Investors' Conference 
- Conduct research under unrelated federal/foundation grants
- Track investor activities via the network
- Gather information that supports investor activity
- Conduct and Coordinate strategic investor research
- Develop strategic investment reports and information to use for outreach

o Co-Development with CEPES Executive Director of ECN Capacity	
- Fundraising - Public, foundation, corporate funding identification, project scoping, proposal writing & follow-up
- Marketing ECN
- Public Outreach - public speaking, representing the organization
- Strategic Planning - Ongoing assistance & support 
- Developing Strategic Partnership with government, corporations, and foundations 
- Maintaining contact with Project/Grant Officers.  Prepare reports that correspond with grants/contracts
- Providing general support as requested

o Coordination and Support of ECN Capital Raising Services	
- Capital Forums Š secure business selection committee, recruit investors, and company training  
- Capital Raising Seminars Š presenting general capital raising background
- Business Plan Reviews Š identify and secure investor reviewers, facilitate calls as requested
- Investors' Bulletin - review draft bulletin 

Qualifications:
Graduate Degree in Business Finance, Environmental Economics, or affiliated field or equivalent experience and knowledge of business finance, venture and angel capital, and environmental technology, products, management, and services.  Must possess good team, public speaking and writing skills.

Salary:
Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Benefits Include Health, Dental, Life.
