The U.S. GEological Survey has published a map showing the
worst problems with naturally occurring arsenic in groundwater.

Michigan has a substantial area showing high frequency of arsenic in
groundwater from Oakland and Macomb Counties, north through
the thumb, Saginaw Bay area and into central northern lower Michigan.
